Most of us are keenly aware of the situation. We have to reduce our greenhouse gases radically. The easiest point for intervention is by removing that portion of greenhouse gases generated by fossil fuels as speedily as possible. As a point of departure, we at Wind People have chosen to concentrate our efforts by targeting 2030 as the date by which we shall be self-sufficient through renewable energy. One of the sectors in which serious progress towards this goal can be made is wind-energy. The more we focus on the state of things, the more we become aware of the numerous advantages to be had by switching to renewable energy -provided it is done sensibly. We at Wind People are convinced that our know-how can make a serious difference on a global scale. We are therefore prepared for serious action and need all the support we can get in the process. Very briefly, Wind People’s concept is as follows: In the short term, we aim to carry out the large-scale implementation of wind turbines throughout the world as quickly as possible. In less developed countries, the profit from wind parks shall be utilized to improve the welfare of the poorest children. In developed countries, on the other hand, profits from established wind parks shall be used to replace fossil energy and boost renewable energy sources and energy conservation. The concept encompasses multiple dimensions, which we will describe here by literally “taking you by the hand” and walking you through Wind People’s concept from start to finish. We begin by describing our concept’s pre-conditions, followed by listing the resources necessary to carry out the projects and finally ending with a description of what we are striving so hard for: the results of a successful implementation of Wind People’s concept. A visionary perspective of a better world, one that is worth living in for all of us.
