Welfare and education of children

Throughout the world, children who are poor are robbed of the possibility of acquiring skills which can bring them out of their poverty.

Wind People wishes to give the poor children of the world access to education of high quality.

Across a large part of the world, education is a prerequisite for being able to create a future with dignity for oneself and for one’s future family. Millions of children over the globe are involuntary illiterates.

A situation which is unacceptable given the fact that they live in societies in which they are oppressed purely on the grounds that they lack reading, writing and arithmetic.

Wind People’s national program aims to make sure that the profit from global wind turbines shall not merely make the world’s richest investors even richer, but that instead mobilized to bring all of the world’s children out of poverty, as for example, through education. Wind People believes that world poverty can be wiped out.

We would like to point out that simply by maximally exploiting the wind resource potential of Brazil, for example, could 11 million of Brazil’s poorest children receive the best possible education from the first day of school to the last day of university.

Wind People has great respect for indigenous peoples and therefore does not subscribe to the view that the Western world’s lifestyle, based as it is on short or long-term education, necessarily the right lifestyle to incorporate all of the world’s children into. The economical benefits from the wind parks shall therefore be used to first and foremost give the children the possibility of choosing priorities for their own present and future lives.
