Financial yieldThe financing of a new Wind People wind park is based on traditional market mechanisms in which investment banks and other financially sound institutions loan the funds required to carry out the project. Wind People can finance most of the projects through international investment banks, which subsequently benefit from an interest yield until the wind park has paid for itself. This interest yield is in itself sound business. Therefore, Wind People strives to have the projects financed by national funds, or at the very least through national development or investment banks, in order for the interest yield from multi-million dollar wind parks to be ploughed back for the benefit of an individual country’s economy. |
