LegislationThe easiest regions for Wind People to introduce the concept are in those countries that already have certain guidelines and legislation for incorporating wind energy into their electric grid. On the other hand, some of these countries are also the most difficult to operate in, since the local government and established energy sector are already locked in to working procedures and networks which make introduction of Wind People’s concept difficult. However, Wind People’s concept is so unique that in most cases it will require special political treatment and acceptance prior to implementation. It is therefore not a prerequisite for the country to already have developed legal guidelines for the implementation of wind energy in general or Wind People’s national program in particular. Wind People’s positioning on the national plane means that introductions and negotiations concerning its national programs will most likely begin in the ministries of energy, environment and social development, as well as in the office of the president of that particular country. |
